Frequently asked questions
Short answers to the questions we hear most often. Need something else? Call or message us — we're happy to help.
How much does moving in Prague cost?
Prices start at 700 CZK/h for the truck alone. Solo (truck + 1 mover) is 900 CZK/h, Duo is 1100 CZK/h, Trio is 1300 CZK/h. The hourly rate kicks in after the first 1.5 hours, which is charged as a flat block. Outside Prague we add a one-time 350 CZK trip fee plus 7 CZK per kilometre beyond the first 10 free km.
Do you work weekends and holidays?
Yes, we move 7 days a week — weekdays, weekends and public holidays — without a weekend surcharge. We recommend booking a few days ahead, since weekend slots fill quickly. Call +420 702 986 519 or use the booking form.
Do you move outside Prague?
Yes, we cover the whole Central Bohemia region (Středočeský kraj). If the move starts or ends outside Prague, we add a one-time 350 CZK trip fee. Both time and mileage are counted from our base at Náměstí Míru in Prague 2-Vinohrady.
How quickly can you arrive?
Availability depends on the day — on weekdays we can often handle a move the next day or even the same day if a slot is free. Fill out the form or call +420 702 986 519, and we'll confirm the earliest possible slot within 24 hours.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept cash and bank transfer, and we issue a proper tax receipt. You pay after the move is finished, once everything is in its new place.
What's included in the hourly rate?
The rate covers the truck, fuel, driver, and the number of movers you picked (Truck, Solo, Duo, or Trio). The first 10 km inside Prague are also included. Outside the base rate: moves outside Prague, kilometres beyond 10 km, foil packing, furniture assembly or disassembly, buildings with no elevator, and any movers beyond 3.
Are customer items insured?
Yes, we carry professional liability insurance that covers damage caused during the move. If something is damaged, we handle the claim through our insurer. We're happy to walk through the coverage on the phone before you book.
Do you provide boxes and packing materials?
You usually source your own boxes, but on request we can bring foil and boxes to the move. Foil packing is charged from 50 CZK per item (from 300 CZK for large furniture). Mention this to the administrator when you confirm the booking.
What if the building has no elevator?
We still move into buildings with no elevator — there's a 100–200 CZK surcharge per floor. The exact figure depends on how much you're moving and how many floors. We always agree it with you up front.
How far in advance should I book?
For a typical move, 2–7 days in advance is usually enough. End and start of the month, weekends and holiday weeks fill up fastest — for these dates book 1–2 weeks ahead. If you want a weekend slot, lock the date in as soon as you know it.
Do you speak English and Russian?
Yes — Czech, English and Russian. When you confirm the booking you pick the preferred language and the administrator will call you back in that language. The crew on the day speaks at least one of those languages too.
Do you move offices and businesses?
Yes — offices, small warehouses and shops. We handle furniture, IT and archives. For businesses we can schedule outside office hours or on a weekend so the move doesn't interrupt your work. We invoice to your company ID (IČ).
